Mosaic Commons Cohousing LLC [1] is a cohousing [2] group that owns land in Berlin, Massachusetts, on which we will be building a medium-sized cohousing development.

We have regular general meetings, normally on the first and third Sunday of each month, from 3:30 'til 6:30 p.m. We also have regular orientation sessions for new prospective members, normally on the third Sunday of each month, from 1:00 p.m. 'til 3:00 p.m. We also have various workshops that take place from time to time, lasting for a minimum of four hours, but some of them lasting up to 10 hours on both days of a weekend.

We have a fine roster of skilled professional childcare providers for all of these events, and we are seeking additional qualified candidates to work with us!

Our general meetings and orientation sessions are normally held at the Assabet Valley Family Network (AVFN) in Marlborough, Massachusetts. Other events may take place either there or at other venues in the greater Boston area.

We hope that our childcare providers will be progressive, attentive, friendly, assertive, and above all, creative with our children. Most of us practice some form of attachment parenting [3], so some familiarity with that concept would be helpful.

Our pay scale is progressive and generous. We normally provide a good childcare situation with both inside and outside facilities, books, toys, and games. There are typically six to twelve children in need of care, and typically two to four providers on duty, providing one another with brief breaks.

Providers are welcome at our potlucks (no need to bring food!), which typically happen after our general meetings and sometimes after or during our workshops.
