Mosaic Commons Membership and Participation Policy

Our membership policy provides for three categories of participation in the community, as defined below.  Rights, privileges and expectations for each category are shown in the grid below.

MC Cohousing Members – A community resident who has opted to become a member.  Residents should tell their mentors and/or the Trustees that they wish to become members, and to make a financial pledge.  (Cohousing Members who own their homes are also Unit Owners).

MC Cohousing Affiliates –  An affiliate is an individual who does not live in Mosaic Commons, but has been invited to join the MC cohousing community.  The rights and responsibilities of affiliates are shown in the chart below. See the full affiliate policy here.

Unit Owners –  A Unit Owner is a deeded owner of a unit at Mosaic Commons. (For the purposes of this matrix, a "Unit Owner" is defined by HOA policy.)  Unit Owners who are also residents may opt to become Cohousing Members as well.   (Rights and responsibilities of Unit Owners beyond the community participation categories covered in this policy are detailed in the MC Declaration of Trust.  This policy does not limit those rights or responsibilities.)
